Guide - A Very Detailed Guide just for Voidgloom T2 (Common mistakes included) (2024)

--Introduction--

I noticed many people struggle with Voidgloom T2 and just give up completely, which is a shame as it's not really a difficult boss and you just have to know what the best strategy is. I've read many people's posts about how they struggle with the boss and asking what they can improve, and I've noticed one thing - they all make similar mistakes. So I'll tell you what you should and shouldn't be doing fighing Voidgloom T2.

--Gear--
The minimal gear I recommend for T2 is:
1. 3/4 Ancient Shadow Assassin Set(F5 completion)
2. Revived Heart for helmet(Zombie Slayer 6)
3. Voidedge Katana, with Fabled or Fast reforge(Enderman Slayer 3)
4. Wand of Restoration for healing(Zombie Slayer 6)
5. Manaflux Power Orb for faster Mana regeneration(Wolf Slayer 6)(Recommended)

If you're using something better than this like Necron, just follow the tips below but replace Shadow Assassin Armor with Necron. If you're using Final Destination Armor, there are more tips in the Common mistakes section.

"Why Shadow Assassin?"

If you're doing Voidgloom T2 to get Enderman 5 and use Juju, I'd assume you're a dungeon player and have some levels and floor completions already. F5 completion isn't hard to get and if you want a Juju, you should at least have Shadow Assassin.

"Why Revived Heart?"

Revived Heart can double your healing which is very good and can increase your survivability by a lot, I reforged it to Wise to get some more mana.

A very key item to have for Voidgloom, the Ferocity is good for DPS and shield breaking as well.

"But my Livid Dagger deals more damage."

If that's the case, you can choose to sword swap. Sword swap is to activate Katana ability and swap to the weapon that deals more damage. The Ferocity carries over and you'll get more damage output this way.

Tips(Very Important): Make sure to have Rejuvenate on all the pieces, it can really help you survive. Putting Livid fragments on SA can make it Legendary rarity which is very good for stat boosting. Hot Potato Book is also a nice upgrade that doesn't cost a lot. If you can, put Wisdom on your armor, you'll need to constantly use mana during the fight so you'll need the extra mana. Putting Ultimate Wise on your Katana and Wand of Restoration can save you some mana as well. Manaflux isn't really that crucial for this and it's mainly for preventing you from running out of mana, if you already have enough mana from the Wisdom enchantment you don't really need this.

--Power--

I recommend Itchy power from Furball, you can get some Bonus Attack Speed which is good to have for this boss. Bloody power is also recommended.

--Pets--

From my own experience, Epic Enderman works really well against Voidgloom, even better than Baby Yeti did. It's also really cheap and not hard to level up, I recommend getting it to level 70+ for good damage reduction.

--Magical Power--

I fought T2 with the above gear and since my Skyblock level is higher than most of the people doing T2 for Enderman 5, I reduced my Magical Power to 207 which is pretty low. If you're doing Voidgloom T2, you should have way more than that, like 350+ ~ 400+.

--Equipment--

Molten Equipment is great but if you don't have the money, Ender Equipment is good as well.

--Common mistakes--
I've seen a lot of people making the same crucial mistakes, so I crammed them here.

1. Having One For All on their weapon

One for All(OFA) really isn't great after the change and you should go with enchantments, and here's why:
(1)With enchantments like Execute, Venomous, Giant Killer etc, you can deal more DPS than OFA does.
(2)(IMPORTANT)Syphon is a GREAT enchantment and it can really makes you survive easier. Many people who complain about dying have OFA and therefore doesn't get the healing Syphon gives, after you change to Syphon you'll notice the absurd healing it does.

I also recommend some useful T6 enchantments like Ender Slayer 6, Sharpness 6, Syphon 4(IMPORTANT) and Giant Killer 6. They don't cost a lot and are nice to have.

2. Doesn't use Healing Helmet(For no FD users)

Healing helmet are helmets that boost your healing like Zombie Heart, Crystallized Heart, Revived Heart and Reaper Mask. These helmet can help you survive a lot more easily. It's better if you can get Revived Heart but Crystallized Heart is good as well.

3. Having too less kills on their Final Destination Armor

If you're already Enderman 4 and are using FD, I suggest getting more than 5k kills on each piece of your armor. Now 5k is just a recommended number, there are people doing T2 with 2.5k kills and there are people struggling with 10k kills. If you find youself struggling, kill more Enderman and get to the next defense tier.

--Test result--

I tested the gear above and I could take down a T2 in a minute. During the test I kind of ran out of mana because I don't have Wisdom on my Shadow Assassin, with Wisdom this shouldn't be an issue. I also didn't need to constantly heal with my Wand of Restoration as the Syphon 4 enchant already healed me a lot.

I also made sure to get rid of my Ender Relic in my accessory bag to make the result reliable.

--Extra Tips--

1. Flower of Truth is useful for spawning the boss.
2. Florid Zombie Sword can save you if you're low on Health.
3. Make sure the Katana is on during the whole fight, especially during hit phase since DPS of the boss increases when the shield is up, so get rid of the shield as fast as possible.
4. Dwarf Turtle Shelmet can make you immune to knockback which is really good for fighting slayer bosses. I highly recommend getting one for your pet.

--Conclusion--

I hope this guide help those who want to get a Juju but got stuck on this boss, if you have other questions feel free to ask me.
