Donald Trump has told Christians that they “won’t have to” vote again after this election, saying “we’ll have it fixed so good.”
Trump was speaking on Friday night at The Believers’ Summit 2024 at a Turning Point Action event in West Palm Beach, Florida.
“You won’t have to do it anymore, four more years, you know what? It’ll be fixed, it’ll be fine. You won’t have to vote anymore,” Trump said. “You’ve got to get out and vote. In four years, you don’t have to vote again. We’ll have it fixed so good, you’re not going to have to vote.”
He also said that he “accepted” an “apology” from the FBI after the bureau confirmed he had been shot by a bullet during an assassination attempt earlier this month.
Earlier on Friday, the FBI confirmed Trump had been clipped in the ear by a gunman’s bullet 13 days ago at a Pennsylvania rally.
“What struck former President Trump in the ear was a bullet, whether whole or fragmented into smaller pieces, fired from the deceased subject’s rifle,” the bureau said in a statement.

Trump says he’ll continue doing outdoor rallies following assassination attempt
Trump said in a post on Truth Social on Saturday morning that he’ll continue holding outdoor rallies even after the attempt on his life on July 13 during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
“I WILL CONTINUE TO DO OUTDOOR RALLIES, AND SECRET SERVICE HAS AGREED TO SUBSTANTIALLY STEP UP THEIR OPERATION,” the former president wrote. “THEY ARE VERY CAPABLE OF DOING SO. NO ONE CAN EVER BE ALLOWED TO STOP OR IMPEDE FREE SPEECH OR GATHERING!!!”

Revealed: JD Vance’s new Secret Service codename
Since the early 1900s presidents, vice presidents, first ladies, and prominent persons have been bestowed with a Secret Service codename.
Once, their purpose was to add a layer of security when communicating over insecure technology. However, today they play a more ceremonial, logistical role.
A Secret Service spokesperson once told TheWashington Post that the names shouldn’t be scrutinized too closely as they are collated on “sheer whim” by the White House for a candidate to pick from.
Now, JD Vance has been given a secret codename of his own.

Senator Elizabeth Warren has been one of JD Vance’s sharpest critics since former President Donald Trump picked the Ohio Republican senator as his vice presidential running mate. And that makes sense, given she was an early supporter of Kamala Harris going back to the vice president’s days as attorney general of California.
But back in Washington, the Massachusetts Democrat has happily worked with Vance, as the pair serve on the Senate Banking Committee and co-authored legislation to claw back executive pay for failed banks.

Melania Trump memoir promises ‘intimate portrait’ of former first lady’s life
Melania Trump has a memoir coming out this fall, which her office has described as “a powerful and inspiring story of a woman who has carved her own path, overcome adversity and defined personal excellence.”
The memoir, entitled Melania, is the first book by the former first lady and will be released by Skyhorse Publishing, a company that has published works from allies of former President Donald Trump such as former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani and lawyer Alan Dershowitz.
