Both Sun Prairie East and Waupun represented the State Journal/WiscNews areas at the state tournament this season.
The Cardinals fell short of a gold ball and the Warriors carried one home. Each team had great players who were recognized regionally and around the state. There was plenty of talent around southern Wisconsin beyond those two teams.
Here are the 2024 State Journal/WiscNews All-Area softball teams.
